Senco Gold & Diamonds enters the phygital gold business
Mumbai: Jewelry retail chain Senco Gold & Diamonds has announced its foray into the phygital gold business with the launch of its own online gold transaction platform named DG Gold. This takes into account the growing consumer preference for the use of technology.
The DG Gold platform offers consumers the ability to convert their purchase of online gold into physical gold in the form of jewelry at over 116 Senco Gold & Diamonds outlets across India, at the time of redemption. Consumers can also sell gold online on the DG Gold portal / website at the going rates from anywhere, anytime.
Consumers with a valid PAN / Form 61 card and a bank account in their name are eligible for a DG Gold transaction. They can start their gold savings journey online with a purchase value as low as Rs 250, the brand said in a statement.
